Interests:
My interests lie in anything outside. I am an avid road cyclists who enjoys heavy heart pounding induced by painful hill climbs, long hikes and open water swimming.  During the winter months I travel north or back to the Rockies to indulge my telemark obsession.

Background:
I grew up in Denver so my love of the outdoor was reinforced at a young age. I am a water-girl, swimming competitively on the national level for 16 years. For undergraduate I attended Smith College and for Grad school I lived in South Africa and attended theUniversity of Cape Town, earning a Masters in International Development and Gender Studies. For six years I worked in the field, concentrating on sex workers and domestic violence, particularly in New York City. My interest in health and fitness has always been present though and in 2006 I changed careers and began working full time in the fitness industry.

Individual and group fitness certificate from the East Coast Instructor Training Institute.  Pilates Mat and Spin certified.
