| Class Name |
|
| Pilates Stick |
Pilatesstick is an innovative extension of Joseph Pilates’ work. His goal was to connect people to their bodies and change their lives. All of his equipment was created with this purpose. You will be working with a Pilates trained instructor with the Pilatesstick and a Core Pole. Classes are very small, so you will get plenty of one on one attention and guidance as you go through your body transformation. |
| Boxing |
Taught by a professional fighter, this class is a great workout...YES. But, this class is also form and function. Xavier is trained and will train you the way a boxer really starts out. He is so knowledgeable about the sport; you will be blown away with how much you learn in a short amount of time. You will jump rope, do callisthenicís, wear gloves and wraps to spar, and sweat for sure. |
| Capoeira |
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that builds strength and coordination through fluid movements. |
| Core Conditioning |
This class is packed full of core exercises that help you with strength, tone of the muscles, fat loss, and overall health. You will get warmed up first, use weights, use your own bodyweight, and use platforms for full body exercises. You will do higher repetitions with lower weights and focus on form. You will come away with knowledge of the body and have a new perspective on exercise. Maggie works very hard to keep you challenged and push you past your comfort zone, but at the same time keep you safe and make sure you get what you need from their expertise. |
| Group Strength Training |
This class is slightly different than Monday and Wednesday's classes with Maggie and Tiffany.† Alex uses the equipment in Aim Fitness to do functional strength training exercises. This is a great class for someone not familiar with some of the newer tools of the trade. This is also great for someone who does not like to do strength training on his or her own or just does not know what to do. |
| Indoor Cycling |
Aim Fitness offers a fantastic indoor cycling class. The workouts are coached exclusively for cycling and properly "PLANNED" to track progress and results. With a planned workout, you will lose more body fat, you will be less likely to burn out, you will overcome dead zones in your training and ultimately, achieve success based on your goals. |
Power Cycling
|
Power Cycling. Taught on Cyclops 300PT, all students have access to powertap power meters. You will be tested every 6 weeks and will KNOW the output range for your specific zones. With that information, you take your training to a whole new level. Learning peddling mechanics, body positions, heart rate training, power training, and nutrition in a :45 minute class. Train like a pro! |
| Outdoor Fitness |
Outdoor Walk Group |
| Pilates Mat |

Shelly will work with you on a mat with small pilates balls, yoga straps, and foam rollers. You will here cues and verbage that relates to overuse injuries, proper posture, alignment of the body, and how to carry pilates throughout your daily lives. |
Yoga
(Monday) |
Restorative Yoga for Athletes. This class is great for athletes who pushed the limits over the weekend. Yoga is a great for the athlete with tight hamstrings and back. The stretching work can improve the rest of your week by opening hips, low back, and allowing mobility in your overworked muscles. |
| Yoga |
We offer a great yoga program with Irene Hernandez here at Aim Fitness. Irene teaches Iyengar yoga. Iyengar has systematised over 200 classical yoga Asanas and 14 different types of Pranayamas (with variations of many of them) from the simple to the incredibly difficult. These have been structured and categorised so as to allow a beginner to progress surely and safely from basic postures to the most advanced as they gain flexibility, strength and sensitivity in mind, body and spirit. We also offer props to make the poses more comfortable and attainable. Props include, chairs, straps, blocks, balls, blankets, and walls. |
